DSTRIPPED MAGAZINE UNVEILS IN PRINT: CAN YOU HANDLE THE TRUTH?
DStripped Magazine cuts through the public relations façade and gives you the down and dirty truth about real people and how they really live their lives. DStripped is the vision of a fashion designer who was tired of reading the same old generic articles prepackaged for mass consumption. This magazine is different, “stripping” out the marketing spin to reveal the real truth about the human condition.
NEW YORK, May 5, 2011 – DStrippedMagazine.com made its online debut in October 2010 and in May 2011, DStripped Magazine will celebrate the release of its first print issue. The 168-page publication will be packed full of editorial and photography (and you won’t have to flip through 30 pages of advertisements before you get to real content)! “We are excited to be able to provide a platform for so many talented and creative people and present them to the world”, says Clinton Allen, Editor-in-Chief.
DStripped Magazine’s cover will be adorned with five inspiring women from New York City who work tirelessly and endlessly to support the charitable foundations they own and support. Read feature articles on Kaira Akita, casted in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married” and “The Family That Preys”, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Executive Director at OPI Nails, and Ambre Lake, winner of Bret Michael’s “Rock of Love – Season Two”.
Celebrity hair stylist, Steven Dillon (www.stevendillonhair.com), will offer styling tips. Betrice Benbow, fashion editor, will provide vintage styles highlighting Spring/Summer trends.
So, do you really care about the struggles of a celebrity that has an unlimited disposable income and can fly off to St. Barts on a whim if they feel like it? Are you tired of being enticed by a magazine cover only to find that it’s filled with meaningless ads instead of meaningful content? If you are, buy a copy of DStripped Magazine at www.dstrippedmagazine.comto read stories you can relate to and embrace your own views while considering others.
